Hi Mike,
Have you ever noticed that once you decide to buy a certain car, you suddenly see that car everywhere?
That’s what I call the “Blue Honda Rule.”
The cars were always there.
You just weren’t focused on them before.
The exact same thing happens with investment opportunities.
One of the biggest complaints I hear from investors is:
“I can’t find good deals.”
But in my experience, the problem usually isn’t deal flow.
It’s focus.
Because once you become laser-focused on a specific type of opportunity, your brain begins filtering for it automatically.
You start noticing:
- opportunities,
- conversations,
- people,
- and markets
that were always there - but invisible to you before.
I once had a client who wanted to deduct travel expenses related to real estate activities. In the process of focusing his time and attention on real estate opportunities, he discovered a land development deal that eventually generated nearly $1 million. The opportunity had existed for years. He simply never saw it before.
Another investor walked past an old church in Scotland hundreds of times.
Then one day, after deciding to focus on condominium development, he suddenly realized that church could become a condo project and the government would even subsidize the renovation because it was historic property.
Same building.
Different mindset.
Professional investors don’t wait for opportunities to magically appear.
They train themselves to recognize opportunities through focus.
That’s why successful investing starts long before the deal itself.
It starts with:
- defining your criteria,
- building your team,
- understanding your tax strategy,
- and clarifying what wealth actually means for you.
When your strategy becomes clear, opportunities become visible.
At our upcoming Tax-Free Wealth for High-Net-Worth Entrepreneurs & Investors Conference, we’ll dive deep into intentional investing, tax-effective strategies, and wealth-building.
Because once your mind knows what to look for, the world begins showing it to you.
