Israeli settlers may be increasing attacks

Wally is terrified for his family's lives. They live in the West Bank, not Gaza, but close by is Yitzhar — a settlement many say is extremist, and violates even Israeli laws about where settlements can be located. The allegations of crimes committed by settlers in Yitzhar is alarming to say the least, and have extended both to Palestinians as well as Jews who helped them, but it has mostly been overshadowed by the events in Gaza. Out of all the Israeli settlements in the West Bank, the Yitzhar Settlement is known to be the most violent extremist Israeli settlement.  For decades now, these settlers have come down from the mountaintop and destroyed my family's crops, burned down our homes, and shot us like wild game. Their ultra-religious ideology has led them to view us as nothing more than animals. They kill us with no repercussions, and many times, with the support of the IDF.  The Yitzhar settlers are killing my family right before my eyes, and I need help to stop them. All Israeli settlements in the West Bank are illegal by international law and must be addressed, but immediate action is required to stop the most extremist Israeli settlers terrorizing and killing Palestinians daily. For the livelihood of my family and other Palestinians in the West Bank, the Yitzhar Settlement must be dismantled. Dismantling Yitzhar would not only give my family a sense of relief from the constant terror of Yitzhar but also set a precedent for the respect of international law and human rights in the West Bank. Dismantling Yitzhar will make it easier to dismantle other illegal settlements in the West Bank, starting with the most violent. The United Nations has been alerted about the Yitzhar Settlement through detailed appeals, but nothing has come from it. With the world finally giving attention to the Palestinian plight, it's incredibly urgent to act now while the world is watching.
