Save landlines!

AT&T's proposal to discontinue landline services in California poses a significant threat to the connectivity and safety of many residents, particularly in rural areas. With limited mobile reception in these regions, landlines serve as a crucial lifeline for communication, emergency preparedness, and daily operations for businesses.

The petition calls upon concerned individuals to act promptly and prevent AT&T from withdrawing its "Eligible Telecommunications Carrier Designation" and relieving its "Carrier of Last Resort Obligation." The potential discontinuation of landline services puts California's rural families, seniors, businesses, and farmers at risk. Save landlines, sign now!

ACT TODAY!

AT&T is petitioning the California Public Utilities Commission to cease its landline operations in California!

Many areas of California are without or have limited mobile reception. Landlines are often the only way many rural residents stay connected, safe, and emergency-ready. Rural businesses depend upon landlines for day-to-day operations. Vulnerable populations, like seniors, count on landlines to handle emergencies. Many rural California economies, schools, and healthcare providers rely on landline phone services.

Without landlines, California's rural families, seniors, businesses, and farmers are at risk!

Please sign this petition to urge the CPUC to deny AT&T from withdrawing its "Eligible Telecommunications Carrier Designation" (Application 23-03-002) and deny relieving its "Carrier of Last Resort Obligation" (Application 23-03-003).
